The Bothell Carrier 2.0 is based off the popular Oregon City Carrier, a MOLLE platformed vest that zips on and off like a jacket. It features plate pockets for up to 10" x 12" plates in both the front and the back, a pocket on the inside for a back up gun, as well as internal routing for radio microphones and ear pieces. The Bothell features MOLLE on the lower half of the front of the carrier and utilizes integral pockets on the upper half of the carrier. This lends itself to a cleaner and more professional look as well as maintaining utilitarian function. It is designed for Safariland Armor 2.0 panels.

  • These have been extremely popular lately, and a frequent question we get is "Will it fit the panels from my (brand X) vest? By measuring your panels using the Vest Panel Measurement form found on our website: VEST PANEL MEASUREMENT SHEET, we may be able to order the carrier so your panels can be used. Please call us for details.
  • The biggest issue is making sure the carrier is big enough to zip it up when it arrives. We can make the carrier fit your panels, but if your panels are too small for your body, we're going to be in trouble! When ordering your carrier, you need to let us know if your panels overlap, touch, or gap on the sides. If you have a gap, we will need to order your carrier a little bigger. So you will need to measure the gap and tell us how much is on the left side and how much is on the right side while wearing your vest on top of the clothes you would wear during a regular shift. If you work in Alaska, you may have to put on your vest over a down filled parka! You get the idea…
  • ID Panels can be purchased separately. Please look for the Add Accessories box and select the color and type of ID Panel you would like.  Other ID Panels are available, so if you don't see the one you want, give us a call.

  • Another recommendation is a velcro nametape. You pick the color of the embroidered lettering and e-mail us with the exact spelling.
  • Not everyone can purchase armor products from BALCO Uniform. Our company policy is that we only sell body armor, plates, and carriers to Law Enforcement, First Responders, and credentialed Security personnel. So if this is your first purchase with us, please e-mail a copy of your badge and credentials along with your sizing form for our files.
  • Finally, we need to let you know that usually these carriers take 6-8 weeks, but due to the popularity of this item, lead time could be 8-12 weeks.
